Years on, I still have never met someone who worked for their DPhil as hard as John did. John was dedicated, determined, and we had alot of fun laughing through the highs and lows of lab work. Thinking of you, John, and of Ruth and the children.

Thoughts
Working with John was an enormous privilege and a very great pleasure. Not only was he a very brilliant physician but he was kind and thoughtful to all staff and patients.
I will miss his brilliant sparking diamond wit.
It was an absolute pleasure to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Please know that we in OUH also thought the world of John
